Worship with Us

We'd love for you to join us for a Sunday Morning Service

You can worship with us on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. in person or by live-streaming on our Facebook page at facebook.com/FPCRogers. A recent worship service can also be viewed during the week after its original airing via the player on this website.

ABOUT OUR SERVICES

How We Worship

Worship at First Presbyterian is not about a particular style – we aren’t strictly traditional or contemporary. We incorporate music of many genres with rich theological content.

Worship provides us a chance to be in the presence of a loving God, joined by other children of God in offering our praise, thanks, prayers for a hurting world, longings, and needs to God.

Breath Prayer

Isaiah 40:31

Inhale:I trust in the Lord

Exhale:He renews my strength

Music in Worship

If you enjoy music, First Presbyterian Church is the place to be on Sunday mornings. We perform a variety of music styles, utilizing a variety of musical instruments.

Our church is blessed to have a two-manual Kilgen tracker pipe organ, built in 1910, that was originally housed in the First Presbyterian Church in the downtown location. The organ was rebuilt and moved to the current church sanctuary where it is played each Sunday.

If you like to participate in music, there is a place for you at First Presbyterian Church whatever your instrument or choice of music styles.

Make a Joyful Noise!

Our choir members take music seriously but also like to have a good time. We are a real community choir, not professional, and always welcome new members.

The Chancel Choir will resume practices from 7:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday evenings.

Bill Hesse is our Choir Director. For more information, please contact him at: bphesseco@aol.com

Our Mission

Because God loved us first…

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love” – I John 4:7-8
